No i don't feel that funded day cares at high schools encourage teenage pregnancy. Kids make mistakes but i don't feel they should have to fall short because of that kind of obstacle. They have funded day cares to keep these kids in school. Just because they have babies and life wasn't as easy as they thought it would be doesn't mean they should feel the need to drop out. Some of them need that extra help. If they dropped out and got on welfare they would be talked about like dogs so really its a no win situation either way. If these parents instill in they re kids the need to get married and find stability in life before thinking about kids they re wouldn't be so many babies having babies.

No they don't. Without a service provided like this teenage moms may simply choose to drop out of school if they don't have daycare for their babies. That is one of the worst things a teen mom can do is to quit school. Without an education teen moms could end up being on welfare their whole lives. I wish they would of had it at my highschool. It took me longer to complete my HS diploma because I had to do it at home. I know have a college degree and I have not ever been on welfare.

some might say that it does sell teenage being pregnant. besides the shown fact that, it is totally effectual for the teenage mothers obtainable who elect the help to stay in school. Many youthful women are compelled to offer up college after having a sprint one because of the fact she would not have sufficient materials for regardless of reason there is. some think of that because of the fact the pregnant ones are not looked down upon that it makes it like the cool element to do to have a sprint one. Regardless, however i think of that it incredibly is a competent thought to have daycare in excessive colleges. perhaps not one and all, yet a minimum of one in each city to accomodate the youngster mothers.

I sure hope not. The intent of these programs is to help support this new family. The teen parents frequently have no one else to help them. They often have no skills at being parents. They are given these skills through formal and informal parent education experiences. The child is in an environment where he/she can be given good developmental care during the time the parents are in school. I think these programs are very proactive for this population and help others realise there is no glamor in being a teen parent.

I think kids don't think about that. In the first place they don't think about what can happen when you have sex. In my city the High Schools do not have that but they do have a continuation school with day care. The purpose is to encourage the kids to go to school. I think it is a much needed program. Ti's better then to have them drop out.

For certain, it doesn't help reduce the teenage pregnancy.

If you give knife to people, people will find a way to use it.
If you give gun to people, people will find a way to use it.
If you give daycare to people, people will find a way to use it.

While it may not directly encourage teenage pregnancy, it is supporting it in a little way. This type of support would support
teenagers' already committed pregnancies.

We should encourage teenagers' continuation of education by rewarding those who work hard to build their future, and not provide free service to those who neglect their future.

No but it does encourage a lack of responsibility...i don`t have to worry about what i do because society will look after everything!!! Your taxes will either pay for my daycare or my abortion...pick your poison... this is the result of perverted reasoning.

I would think they discourage teen pregnancy since it's pretty real what happens to the kid. I don't think a lot of teens want to get pregnant in the first place. They just want the sex. They should consider protection or maybe the morning after pill.
