How do I undo something?

Question

I told a co-worker (whom I thought I could trust!), about an affair I'm having with another co-worker. I was hesitant, but I told her anyway. Now I regret saying anything. I don't know why I told her at all. I feel she may tell someone else, even though she said she wouldn't tell. I feel so stupid. How can I undo it???

You want people to help you out of a problem involving your affair?? Are you serious? You shouldn't be mad at their trustworthiness, just take a look at yourself.

Maybe subconsciously that was the real reason you told somebody. Anybody. You feel guilty for even doing it and know it is wrong and maybe somehow this will lead to ending the wrong thing you are doing. If the truth gets out everyone will watch you and you will have an excuse to call it quits. You are kinda of punishing yourself cause you are getting away with something that's out of control.

You cant undo it. If you can trust your co-worker and you know that they can keep a secret, you should be okay. But if you know they like to gossip, someone's gonna get burned. But you know what they say, playing with fire will surely get you burned.

there's no undoing this one. let the coworker forget about it. never bring it up again. Or sometimes saying, "I'll know if you tell anyone" can do the trick because a lot of people have it in the back of their minds that they can tell just one person without you ever finding out.

You cant undo that......but maybe you can tell her that you stopped having the affair. Or tell her you were being sarcastic and lied for some stupid reason....or maybe you should just keep your pants on and stop having affairs!!!!

Admit it...you told this person because you wanted the truth to be told, but you didn't want to fess up. You just want to blame them for outing you- Right?

You can't undo it. You told her because you wanted the attention, or maybe even to make her jealous.

If she tells anyone, which she most likely will within time, you have no one to blame but yourself. You should probably tell your mistress and your wife.
