I think the problem lies in people who lack the education or even just the effort it takes to go get on any type of birth control. Certainly there are extenuating circumstances, like rape, but for the most part, people who get abortions are not rape victims and just do not want to have a child at the time. This, in my opinion, is wrong, and these people need to be more responsible for their actions and more compassionate to a child that has no choice in the matter.
P.S. I think you are cute, Mr. Bear!

Circumstances is now all of it.You got a 13 year old girl who has had sex with all most ever male in school don't know who the father is a Mother at home with 7 or 8 other baby's a different father for all and they need one more for who to take care of, they don't take care of any of the others. All of not having baby's need to start at home but children do what they see.The states need to step in and do something sterilization might help if the women don't have enough sense not to have all those baby's for the people to take care of then the government need to do something. If you and a lot of other think abortion is so bad then pass a law if a woman has over 2 and don't know who the father is then it is time for the government to step in.Save a lot of money and baby's.

well when you are in the mood sometimes people just cant control themselves and just want to have sex that exact moment without thinking.... so when you get pregnant abortion is really the only way you wont get the baby..
p.s honestly i don't see what the big deal is..... its better to get rid of the unwanted baby in its early stage then letting the baby be born and the mother abusing it and no i dont think giving it up for adoption is an option because if everyone just decided to have there baby inside of an abortion and gave them away we would be over populated with way to many people....... p.s.s the baby can be the next Issac Newton but also can be the next murderer then what

The baby may not have a choice, but the Adults have the choice to actually think and use protection, people really need to learn about personal responsibility.

1. In 98% of cases I would agree there is NO excuse for abortion.
2. But in some rare cases the risk of the baby's either dying or killing the mother is VERY high, and these are the very rare and ONLY cases I believe abortion is justified.
You'd think it may be as easy as "just choose not to get pregnant". But some people can't afford birth control pills (which are virtually fool-proof if used well) and have to use condoms...and, sad to say, condoms, even when used well, can tear during hard sex (I know because it has happened to me that it broke, even though I noticed it quickly enough to avoid it's doing any harm).
But, for example
1. People who can not afford to care for their babies can put them up for adoption
2. People who can not afford medical care and pain killers for birth can get medical care from government or, if it's too late for this, simply get a loan and explain their bad credit situation to, for example, mortgage loaners or other people their deal with later (these people will most often excuse bad credit obtained for such reasons)
3. People who can't afford birth control or "just forget" should be held legally accountable for their actions and
4. Abortion should NOT be an option to anyone UNLESS the act of having the baby poses a significant (say, over 50%+ chance) of death for the mother, or a 90%+ chance of death for the baby, or a combination of both.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
So, in a huge majority of cases abortion is NOT an excuse.
The REAL SHAME in how the law is laid out is people like myself, who are about 99% pro-life and 1% pro-choice, are forced to express themselves as pro-choice because of that 1%.
BECAUSE, UNLESS THE BABY IS GOING TO DIE AND LIKELY KILL THE MOTHER IN THE PROCESS OF BIRTH, AGREED....
IT !!!IS!!!! FIRST AND FOREMOST THE BABY'S RIGHT TO CHOOSE
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Simply put, it is obvious to me we need laws that ONLY ALLOW ABORTION UNDER INCREDIBLY EXTREME/ALREADY DEADLY CASES and to STOP BLAMING pro-choice people who are, in fact, essentially for pro-life actions except under such extreme circumstances

I see what you're saying and I respect your thought. Bottom line is, a choice is exempt from reason. It's function is to be an option for any given action [responsible or not] to do, not to do, or to be ignored.
As for the developing baby; truth is, he/she has no option in this matter.

Most people don't choose to be raped. Those are the circumstances you were talking about, correct? And you know what? Even people who have an IUD, use condemns AND spermicidal lubricant can get pregnant. Sometimes it IS out of our control when we're practicing SAFE sex.
And what "baby"? Define "baby". Define "life". I ask people to do this ALL THE TIME when discussing abortion and no one ever gives me a straight answer. Sometimes they don't even respond.
If you're going to talk about killing babies, please define "baby" and "life". That way I know what we're talking about. Otherwise, you're using terms that none of us can be sure we're using in the same way.
Oh come on, I'm not JUST talking about rape. Yeah, I brought it up. Don't yell about that and ignore everything else I said. Then again, do whatever you want. Stick your head in the sand for all I care.
Yep, just as I thought. This is so typical. You will NEVER define "baby" and "life" because you can't. You're using those terms as vague buzz words to stir people up for a cause that you support. Quit spinning and get real.

somtimes the condom breaks......
somtimes people are raped,
somtimes the pill doesn't work
sometimes the girl is way to young to be having sex much less having a baby
somtimes a girls family would disown her if they ever found out
there are a lot of different circumstances, and while i don't think women should just have abortions instead of using protection....i do think it's important that there be a safe option for desperate people, so that they don't hurt themselves trying to fall down stairs etc
if you think abortion is wrong than don't have one!

What is this, the abortion night? This is like the 10th abortion question I've seen in the last 10 minutes.
Those who are for it aren't changing their minds.
Those who are against it aren't changing their minds.
What's the purpose of the bombardment of these questions?
