The best way to get over someone you deeply cared for is simply time. Take time to properly mourn your loss, because it is a huge loss in your life. Secondly, don't hold any hard feelings, that simply poisons your life. Allow enough time for yourself to heal emotionally, as you don't wish to take any baggage into your next relationship from this one. Don't keep to yourself for too long, force yourself to get out of the house (after u've mourned) and mingle with others, friends, coworkers, family. This will fill up your time and help you to recover faster. Confide in someone that you know has the patience and empathy to listen to everything you say without being judgemental or dictatorial. Venting is one of the best ways to flush negative and painful feelings out of your life. I wish you all the best.

Misery loves company. Try to always surround yourself with friends and family. Go out wherever and whenever you can. Everyone feels differently with one another. But what you have to realize is that everything happens for a reason and. Maybe she just wasn't for you and all you need is time to realize so. Trust me it only gets better in the end.
