Speaking for myself, I wouldn't feel like being intimate if I had a yeast infection because firstly they are uncomfortable and secondly I wouldn't do it out of respect to my husband (it could be unpleasant to him). Take a diflucan (the single dose yeast infection pill). Also eat yogurt twice a day and I would refrain from sex if you really intend to get rid of the infection as it can come back again without treatment. If the problem doesn't clear up then you probably have BV (bacterial vaginitis) and should ask your doctor to prescribe some Flagyl or another anti-biotic that is used to treat it. In that case you would have to take it for seven days in order for it to clear up. But you should first try diflucan and I would hold off on sexual activity until it is cleared up. I am not sure about whether or not a yeast infection would interfere with fertilization (I seriously doubt it), but the choice is yours really. Good luck.

You shouldn't be having sex right now because you can give your partner a yeast infection and it is much worse for a man to have one on his member. However, if you've already had sex and you are talking about the conception afterward, it is possible to still get pregnant but when you are sick at all your body tends to fight off all unidentified cells which include sperm, so it could be a little harder.
