Wanting to avoid the rust of school kids in this area on Spring break when I travel there. If anyone knows when it is (so that I can go at a different time) that would be great. Happy New Year to all

The most common spring break dates are the week before and the week after Easter. Colleges do not always schedule the break around Easter, however....they can be anytime in March or April.

SD isn't that big of a Spring Break town because the water is generally very cold and in fact it could be quite overcast still that time of year. It's been warm so far this year, but this is unusual.

I live between San Diego and LA and for us it is April 9 to the 13th.

SDSU is 3/26-3/30
UCSD is 3/28-4/3
