Compare a typical black family from 1940 to one today. Strong moral nuclear families. Look at all the progress since the so-called "Civil Rights" movement. Granted these Democrats meant well, I think it's about time they admit their mistakes. Democrats: tough on fetuses, easy on crime, and pretend to be friends with blacks even though they founded the KKK.

Thank you for finally bringing this point up. I'm continually confused as to why the blacks continue to support the Democrats. After asking many blacks this question, the typical response I get is that the Democrats push all these welfare programs.

What many blacks don't see is that the Democrats never cared about the blacks as a people. Starting during the Civil War era, the Democrats were the ones who wanted to keep slavery and keep the blacks under white rule. They wanted to prevent blacks from getting educated and advancing in society. Only later when the Democrats started realizing that the blacks could be a potential voting goldmine, did the Democrats pay attention to the blacks.

The Democrats though only push any kind of welfare program to help low-income people without any thought of whether it would be good or not. Democrats' thinking: Welfare bill? Then, I'm all for it even though I may not have read the bill. Blacks need to realize that the Democrats don't care about the black people. Throughout their history, they've been against civil rights and trying to help the black people.

Instead of working to help blacks advance in society, the Democrats are pushing welfare programs and only that in order to keep the blacks satisfied at the bottom, a strategy the Democrats have been using all through this country's history.

Don't blame it on the Democrats alone. In fact, I'm glad you brought this up as you're avatar seems to indicate you're black and I have one question to pose. Don't you think that some of the Black Leadership themselves have put the black people in the Victim mentality. I speak directly of the Revs. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, the 2 self appointed Civil rights Champions of the Black people. I think the late Dr. Martin Luther King would be highly disappointed in these two men. They seem to show up to steal the thunder anytime an incident occurs. Remember, Rev. Sharpton's role in the Tawana Brawley case or maybe what's to be made of Rev. Jackson's Rainbow Coalition paying a salary to a woman that fathered his child while he was married to another woman. These are two fine role models for Black Men to look up to and follow, wouldn't you say. I saw the James Brown Funeral on CNN and they were disgusting in the way they clinged to Michael Jackson and orchestrated the family fiasco. Yes, L.B.J.'s "Great Society" brought about many problems but some responsibilty has to be placed squarely on those most at fault, the balck leadership.

How is it we figure the Dems founded the KKK???

My understanding is the people that were "religious zealots" founded the "organization". Democrats, TYPICALLY, have been a little freer of thinking than those on the Donkey Show side of the fence.

I am willing to admit that I could be wrong, but where is this all coming from?? Do you realize that in this day and age, the Democratic party have done more for blacks than the Republicans have even dreamed of doing? If you are pissed at the Dems, fine. But to attack an entire party due to your rage is rather hypocritical, don't you think (hating the entire black race due to the actions of a portion of the race)?

FYI-When I see Colin Powell or Condi or many other people that have stopped being a group member and a part of the bigger picture, I see a normal American.
When I see Jesse Jokeson, Charlie Rangel, and others that are there to voice separatist views and ideas, all I see are Ni.........s!

Does that answer your question?
Ten to one-if there were no longer any "Affirmative Action" programs (That have long outlived their "Usefulness"), there would no longer be any reasons for Americans to worry about their "Skin Color" at all!

Nothing ever changes okay. Theyre participating in our nations history of selling worthless crap to suckers and exploiting the black man. Dont get me wrong it happens from all sides but the dems are really shitty because they have this implication that theyre going to look out for black america.

Because Blacks keep voting for them. If they admitted it they would lose the backing of the black communities and votes.

Because the Democrat politicians only want one thing: control. By having black families decimated, black women need the government. Needing the government = Democrat voters.
