Lie the baby and stomach. Cup your hands and lightly pat baby on back over lungs. This will help loosen it and get it out.

Lie down ur baby slightly on a pillow, take some baby oil, slightly warm it, put some camphor powder in it, mix it thorowly so that camphor dissolves in oil, when the oil is cooled then apply that oil to the baby's chest, back side, legs, palms etc so that when the baby sleeps that vapours will go into the body and try to dissolve the phlem and comes out by motion the next day, there are no side effects by using this because u are not using any medicine, it is only camphor. Kindly try this which would give better relief to ur child.

truthfully, it doesnt incredibly make a distinction. I basically layed down for perhaps 2 minutes after intercourse and then I consistently have been given up and went to the washing room. i'm now 5 weeks pregnant with #a million! To me, once you're stressing approximately one and all of those little issues, thats what can positioned rigidity on attempting to conceive. only loosen up and luxuriate interior the newborn-making technique. good success and infant airborne dirt and dust~

Percussion on the back of the chest before bedtime. This will help loosen some of it up so he can cough it up.
Percussion is where you cup your hand and hit the baby's back at the tip of the shoulder blade. Your going to hit a little harder to really break it up. It seems a little rough but it really isnt it.

You could try percussions on the baby's back and chest (tap the babies's back and chest with hands like beating on a drum). Check for guidelines on internet for performing the technique properly. It loosens phlegm so babies can cough/spit it up. I used to have to do this with kids who couldn't walk where i worked (they get more plegm because they aren't active, just like a baby).

When you pound on the back or chest, your hands should be a little cupped and not flat. It should sound like a horse trotting and not like you're slapping someone.

The Flem might be from an infection. if so , anything you do won't help. see a doctor right away before the baby gets pneumonia.

My son just got over having pneumonia and I found that putting pillows under the matress so it was elevated helped alot with the phlegm situation as well as lessening coughing at night time.

Add a humidifier to the room - it helps a lot. Also, rub his/her chest and back with a vapour rub (vicks). It the problem worsens, then talk to the doctor as it could become a problem. Good luck.
