It seems like a LOT of people here are really concerned about gay people. Yes, they are PEOPLE. You don't "turn" gay after doing something. If you are gay, you are born gay.
For the record, I am not, but I have friends that are gay.

Everyone "here" (guessing you mean the GLBT area of Yahoo Answers) is not hung up about being gay, it is just who we are. Those who are hung up about it are those who are not gay and come here to harass gay people and tell us that something is wrong with us.
You are right to say that we do not "turn" gay and are born that way (with sources listed as usual since those against us are unable to do so), but those who despise us turn a blind eye to the facts that show that being gay is both biological and genetic.
Since you felt the need to state that you are not gay, you must have an idea of the constant harassment and discrimination that we feel which is unfortunately not confined to a Yahoo Answers site but is faced by us every day in our lives.

Because the scientific community cannot come to a conclusion about whether homosexuals are born gay or they choose to be gay. Personally I believe that homosexuality is both. I think that some people are born gay but most just choose to live that livestyle.

Yeah, unfortunately some people need to make themselves feel better by thinking they are better than some group. They have lost all social groups except kids and gays so they dont want to lose gays. They pick on us because they need someone to put down and we are the only ones they can put down and still be supported by some people.

Sometimes love has no gender you love who you love...why do other people care about what other people do it is their life live your own the way you want to. I've met gay people that are a lot nicer and in touch with their emotions you could be less judgmental and narrow minded.

Nobody is BORN gay (or straight) because infant newborn babies are not voluntarily or conciously or wilfully physically sexually active, are they?
Homosexuality lies DORMANT until puberty but even then may not be fully realized because of one's environment or upbringing.
There is a genetic variable in sexual orientation, but nobody is actually BORN into any form of sexuality because babies do not, can not and should not respond to sexual stimuli.

i dont have a problem with gay people... but by asking a question like this... all the people that do dislike gay people will say lotsa nasty thing.

Why? Because that which we fear we try hardest to stamp out. If we can manage to stamp it out we can 1) Through the spotlight off ourselves and our failings and 2) By "killing" it, we can try and "exorcise" it from ourselves.
