I live in MN and my father died a little over two years ago. I am the only child. My father did not have a will. I am the only person with the death certificate. I am wondering if there is any way that I could obtain my fathers medical records? If so, how and were do I go? Who do I contact? What all information do I need?

Request for the medical records of your father in the hospital where he was confined and for other records in the civil registry of the places where he resided.

Yes you can obtain his medical records. Take the death certificate with you do your fathers doctors. If this hits a brick wall contact your local States Attorney. There is a letter of just cause that can be given to you. Hope this helps! Good Luck!
