ask your vet. he/she might have good suggestions or websites. its also good to try to find foods with the good stuff and have fun making your own recipe!

um as far as all THAT goes..mainly you just need to buy a high quality dog food..heres how to tell if it is..look at the first ingredient on the bag of food if it is ANY type of grain, corn, wheat, whatever it is BAD...if it says anywhere animal digest, thats the inside of a dead animals stomach which is not good...if anywhere it says chicken, lamb, etc etc by-product, it is not high quality..that means it has hair, feet, hoves, feathers, tumors, anything...also if the food says MEAT and does not indicate which type...it means ANY meat can be in there which can inclucde road kill and euthanized dogs and cats...there are lots of high quality foods out there..a few are merrick, solid gold, prarie, wysong but AVOID AT ALL COSTS iams, purina, and any other food you can buy in a pet store....not one of them is high quality..the high quality foods all have a great mineral and vitamin base so you shouldn't have to worry about any of those not being in there..hope that helps
