The best way to know is to try it. Read the instructions in the box carefully and look at the illustrations. I started using tampons when I was 13. If it hurts, it's not in right.

pads greater. i used to be an identical way I hated pads i presumed they have been a waist of plastic and cotton what ever there created from :) yet hello in the experience that your employing tampons and u have a guy, only think of like I do... I dont elect something making me unfastened yet my guy plus examine the warning on the field that PID syndrome sound scarey. Use tampons given which you incredibly elect or only apply it to the two days whilst ur the" heaviest" pads and pantie liners help for something of time

I think you should stick to pads and I also think 13 is too young to start with tampons. Pads are healthier for you, I know they are not comfortable but sometimes if a tampon isn't changed often enough it can cause toxic shock syndrome.

if you put a tampon in right, you shouldnt feel it at all. i wear tampons instead of pads because i feel more confident and they seem to work for me. i started using tampons when i was 13, so no, its not to young. if your really tiny though, they do make like junior size thats smaller then regular

For your age, I think that you should only use tampons for swimming and maybe sports. I'm twelve and I havent tried a tampon ye..I'm scared too!But when summer rolls around I will have to try one. Wear a tampon when your ready. And just remember the safety issues of them.

You are not to young to use tampons. Any person who starts their period can use tampons from day one. They do not hurt to insert nor do you feel them once you put them in.

You should take that up with your mom or a doctor. But I use tampons because they are more comfortable then pads and you should use a panty liner incase you leak you don't want to spot

Nope, you're not too young. It's kind of a personal choice whenever you're ready. I'd start out using them during swimming or during a sport event and work your way up to using them more. They'll be more comfortable the more you use them and get used to them.

I just resently started using them and YES its waayyyy better! I feel free and sometimes i forget im even wearing one. They are much better but when you first use them use a pad for about 2 or 3 days so your body can get used to them and all. dont worry about it though. they are better!
