To sleep with a good pillow because the pillow gives you support that you need on your back and neck. Without a pillow you would have problems...There are good pillows and bad pillows. Sleeping on your stomach or with your head elevated can give you aches and pains. To give your body the proper rest and to ensure the health of your neck, sleep only in two positions: 1) on your side and 2) on your back. Both these positions keep your cervical spine in natural alignment and prevent misalignment of the neck. You will prevent neck aches, backaches, pinched nerves, and general health problems caused by wear on your vertebrate and spinal column.

I had a lot of neck pain a few months ago but over Christmas I got a memory foam pillow which is great. I don't have as much neck pain. I'd like to get a memory foam mattress as well! I have heard that sleeping without a pillow is good for your posture but I can't confirm that it's a fact. I feel much better using the memory foam pillow than my old soft pillow which gave me no support. Hope this helps!

That depends; if your pillow is ancient harboring millions and millions of dust mites, then I'd say it's healthier to sleep without it.

For comfort sake, I would say a good, clean pillow that is not to lofty is a good bet.

I wash my pillow approximately every 6 months, have a dust mite cover that I wash weekly and on top of that the pillow case, I wash the sheets weekly too.

i've headr that sleeping without pillow is better. it helps on ur blood circulation or something when ur head lies at the same level as ur body

Regular ones may just make you awake with a sore neck .

I'd say whichever is the most comfortable. I don't think it really matters as long as you don't have neck or back pain.
