got some stuff to sell but would like a decent price. just don't want to take a huge loss on things that are still worth close to their value.

Depending on the items, you may not get their actual market value. When selling on eBay, you can set a reserve (minimum selling) price. So if nobody bids your price, you don't have to sell to the highest bidder.

Yes, EBay does work, but you have to know how the buying and selling goes on. How you either pay or be paid. You need to find and experienced person to teach you. Space here does not allow for a crash course. Good luck.

it is up to you, if you know the value of your things maybe start the price higher and if you don't get bids you can change the price, look at the website and see what you think, check out the other items and see if the prices match the items

Its not really that hard to figure out, but it does work. Maybe you should look at similar items to yours to see what they go for before listing. It's not too fun paying listing fees for things that don't sell.

Yes E-bay really does work i have bought and sold things on e-bay and you usually get good bargains and make money when selling.

You can put a reserve amount on your items. If the buyers don't hit that amount then you don't have to sell it to them.
