A quilt (in pristine condition) which my (maternal) great-great grandmother made around 1890, and a late 19th 12-gauge shotgun in excellent condition which belonged to my (paternal)great-great grandfather.

Neither are of any notable monetary value, but their intrinsic worth is priceless for me. My gt-gt-grandmother hand-stitched that quilt by lamplight, and tucked it away in a hope chest for her daughter, who did the same for hers, and so on until it came to my mother who gave it to me because the pattern includes the initial of my name. The shotgun was one used by my.great great grandfather to hunt game for their food, and by his son, and so on until it came to me. I maintain it and keep it in storage, since I do not hunt for food or sport (although I have in the past, for food.)

A brass bell inlaid with enamelled leaves and flowers. It's very beautiful and has a beautiful sound, too. My grandfather brought the bell back from India, but he was a missionary there for more than 20 years, so I'm not sure exactly how old it is. Not more than 80 years, is my best guess.
