go for it, I think it looks really good together, but they have to be dressy shorts-not cut offs with holes in them, pair it with a cute shirt and you'll look great.

Yes, but wear dress shorts (black ones would be perfect or dark gray) then match it with a red shirt when you wear red heels. It will match perfectly.

Umm, well, I guess it depends on the look you're after. Sunset and Vine at 3 am- go for it! Early Mass on Monday morning-- only if you didn't have time to change after your night job.

it depends how short the shorts are if they are majorly short shorts NO! but if they have good length to them it could look good.
