Ha, ha. I am not laughing at you. I get the same thing from friends and people I meet, usually in bars. So at least I am not alone. We should start a support group or something lol. I have fun messing with there minds. I tell them things like, only on this planet, on my home world I'm a prince. Or I tell them it's the only way I can hang out with freaks like them. Or I'm tell them I'm doing research on the plight of the common man, so that when I get back to my planet I will make a better president. My friends know I'm a weirdo any way and it doesn't take others long to figure that out. So it doesn't matter what looks I get. And when strangers tell me this, it makes my answers even more fun. Cause I can deliver these lines with such sincerity, that I have half convinced some people that I was telling the truth. It is so fun messing with peoples minds. I will look at my friends and say a**h**es say what? I only do this with friends, cause I am too old to get in fights. lol
Let me give you a good piece of advice. The only opinion about you that matters is yours. If you aren't happy with your life it's up to you to change it. And you can do it. If your happy where your at, then that's fine. And if people don't like that they can bite you. I always tell people when I die I am going to be buried face down and they are invited to my funeral. This past Christmas I did have a sprig of Mistletoe tied on my back belt loop, till a friend hid it on me.
Most of the time people only put other people down to make themselves feel better about themselves. So who is really the loser?

nothing..just walk away, someone who is putting you down obviously feels bad about themselves and has low self esteem. replying to them with a come back just feeds the fire.
