I have a bit of a situation. I am a 16 year old girl who has a crush on a 14 year old guy. I'm not sure if he likes me, but I've caught him looking at me a few times, and once when we were smiling, we made eye contact. We never talked much, but before he found out how old I was, he would always say hi to me. Now he sort of ignores me. I have noticed that he stands next to me a lot, though. I'm very shy, so I'm too scared to ask him or even talk to him about anything really, for that matter. Today, I noticed that when he stood next to me, he stood the same way I did and he's done this before. I read somewhere that this is a sign he like you . Is this true? Does he like me?

Ok, I'm way older than 14, but there is a high probablity that he is ignoring you becuase he thinks older girls cannot be interested in him anyway, so it's not even worth trying. If you somehow show her that is untrue, he would start "chasing" you again.

I'm 15 and I've been out with girls from as much as 2 years older or two years younger and neither have ever been a problem. Boys usually go out with someone the same age or younger so having an older girlfriend is like a big step up. You have to make him confident that he is equal to you as he probably feels that as you are older, you are out of his league. Try making a move with him and be confident, he would probably love to have an older girlfriend but just doesn't feel it's a possibility. Just make sure that if you do go out, he's doing it because he likes you, not because he wants to look cool in front of his mates.

You are an old lady to his mind. You are reading something into the way he stands and hope for some silly reason it is a good sign for you. He has to stand on the ground like you do. That is reaching. Get in with your own age group.

The difference in age can make guys feel nervous and awkward, but later on this difference becomes unimportant. If you think he really likes you maybe you should try doing something to break the ice.

Well, we don't know for sure. But I have my predictions. I'm guessing he liked you at first. BUT soon after SOMEBODY (not you) made him feel guilty about it. But he still likes you, and standing near you is the closest he'll get to you becuase he dosen't want to be critized again.

Well, I am 13, and I am wouldn't really want to be with anyone above 14, but that's just me. But try telling him your feelings, and see how he reacts.

Just tell him. Guys never reject girls. Girls think they do, but they never outright reject a girl especialy thier friend, unless they have no morals whatsoever and you probably wont be thier friend anyway
