First of all it's not a job these days if you both work you both clean you both live there so you both need to take care of the place. If the woman doesn't work or (man) There is time for them to clean if there home but it's 50/50 we are in year 2007 everything is different. If something needs to be done around the house just do it! If you or your mate is ill then no questions should be asked they should automatically take care of business

My wife was a homemaker when we first got married. It was awesome in many ways. I always came home to a clean house, homecooked meals, laundry was clean and pressed and the kids were well-taken care of. I did most of the yard work, though.

It's because we feel like our job is to bring home the bacon and yours is to take care of the home and nurture the kids. We want to be the king of our castle, we don't want to have to come home from work only to cook and clean.

I don't have anything against cleaning (I once worked as a janitor) and I also like to cook but I just don't have the time or desire to do it on a regular basis.

If you don't have a job, that IS your job.
If you do have a job, quit or get a divorce- it's obvious you don't need to be married. Or find a man who can actually support his family without having the mother of his kids have to hold down a full-time job.

men just suck!!! They want donna reed and they want the extra income from the wife... it doesn't make sense, until sports are banned from television men will just lay around, and expect you to do the cleaning..... i say we turn lesbian.... then our houses will always be clean
