Just go online at Walgreens.com or go into your local store to apply. Anyone can be a cashier. You do not need to have a degree. You can even be a Tech without a degree.
A Pharmacy Technician degree will allow you to do more in the pharmacy, and it gives you more pay, but if cashier is all you want to do, then just go in and ask. They are always looking for help.
Good Luck.

Apply online at Walgreens.com. Walgreens is always looking for pharmacy cashiers and technicians and they are willing to train.

At the walgreen's here in Cincinnati, they are part of the pharmacy (they are able to disperse medications along with ringing them up), so at least in Ohio, you would need a degree.

I wouldn't apply online. Go in and talk to them. Turn in an application in person. You aren't guaranteed to get it, but you'll have a good chance.

you just fill out an application, i think you can do it online and then go to the place you want to work and tell the manager your name and that you filled out an application and you wanted to know if he was hiring. after that just keep checking back to see if he has looked at your application.
