I agree with the other people. I dont exactly hate macs, but even though windows has so many viruses and everthing, theres a lot more software and hardware compatible with it. Another pro is that its much easier to upgrade a pc, (apples are practically seared together,) without much trouble. PCs are generally cheaper than macs too, though youll hear about that its better value. In short, i like pcs better, but apple releases new versions more often than microsoft. Oh, another thing, it will be very very very hard to work with your old files because the two use different applications, unless you get mac versions of microsoft office and stuff.....

It is difficult to say if you should or not. The question you have to consider is what isn't working for you with a Windows PC that you think will work better for you on a Mac.
I would advise finding a friend with a Mac who will let you use it for some time and see which is better for you. If that's not possible, you might try going to an Apple store and get a demonstration of a Mac.
The problem in advising you on such an issue is that one doesn't know what you need a computer for, what you don't like about a Windows-based PC and why you are considering such a move.
As for the file, most files from MS Office should work in Open Office. Other applications may not be so lucky.

Macs do not use homestead windows purposes/courses however homestead windows could be put in on Macs assuming the Mac helps such an set up and the marvelous version of homestead windows is used. Mac hardware seems to conflict with some video games. Flight Simulator is a homestead windows designed game, so i think there is not any Mac version which might require you to place in homestead windows on the Mac. collectively as the demonstrate may well be good i'm not fullyyt confident Mac is your superb guess for Flight Simulator. besides the shown fact that under is a link for Apple's Bootcamp which permits and helps the set up of Boot Camp.

You should, Macs are more reliable, they practically never crash, they are fast and very user-friendly. There are practically no virus at all for Mac, so the chances of getting one and loosing your information are minimal (and if you get an Antivirus, you are 99% safe). Old files have no problem at all, and if you buy Microsoft Office for Mac you can work on any PC files just as if you were working in the PC.

I know there has been a war going on between fan boys of both systems, i am currently using a pc but would also love to have a mac.
What it comes down to is what you want to do with your comptuer here is a short list to help you decide

Gaming = PC
Video Editing = MAC
Security = MAC
Availability of programs = PC
Prettiness = MAC
Upgrading = PC

My suggestion, as much as i hate to say this is that if you don't really care about gaming or upgrading your machine then go with a mac
if you like to tinker around with your computer and upgrade your machine yourself or like to play games stick with a pc

as far as the files go most should transfer rather easily

mac are nice only if you are going to do heavy duty graphics and videos but if you are an average user for your email chat and word you'll be fine with a pc besides mac cost so much and their
programs and parts are so limited. I bought 2 pc s for the price of a mac and had
money left over to do up grades I don't really miss my mac

many mac users have some twisted haterid for pcs, i dont understand this at all, but many mac users are going to tell you get a mac.
but in answer to your question mac has its advantages over pc mainly in the graphics area and sometimes in the reliability area, but pcs are more universal in the respect that you can buy parts from everywhere, and there is a ton of differant software choices.
sorry mac guys its the truth.

In a word: yes. I switched a few years ago, and this bad boy STILL runs brilliantly. I've never had a virus, and the only times that this computer has crashed were ENTIRELY my own fault.
