Short answer: fats pass through the cell membrane b/c they are lipids. Sugars and AAs are not, so they enter the cell through endocytosis. This in the brush border endothelial cells of the gut.

yeah what he said.....sugar is stored(after absorbed) as glycogen or it's excess as fat pretty much sames goes for protein.
