My ex and I broke up and now I see him dating other older men who seem to have more then I do. He really is into nice things, I can only do so much. Some of his dates have offered him clothe and trips and stuff and he hasn't said no. Is this taking advantage?

It appears that he loves or enjoys materialistic 'things' rather than people themselves. Do you really want to be with someone who is in the relationship for what they can get from the person? Find someone who truly cares about you for who you are, not for what you can give them and you will be much happier. Best wishes to you.

It's not "right", but it happens. As far as him taking advantage.... well, who doesn't like having someone else wanting to shower them with things. I don't know of anyone who doesn't appreciate it. I also don't know if your ex is dating these people just for the materialistic things that they can give or if he just happened to get lucky. Personally it drives me nuts to see someone just dating another because of money and gifts. But be glad that you are out of that situation. Sounds high maintenance to me. And a gold digger.

sure it is
but this person was not a great match for you anyway.
Ideally you will be with someone who wants you for you.
Get over this loser
When you find someone meeting the above criteria
you will wonder what you ever saw in your ex!
p.s.
Avoid going places where you see your ex and these older people
(it shouldn't be to hard to do) and quit taking his calls bragging about the trips and the clothing

Man thats just the world. People are whores. You can either sit and wait for the day that his looks go and he has to develop a personality and substance or you could do something yourself. Me I completely condone you trying to melt parts of his person with acid. Might be a little more than you can stomach but me, Im vindictive and have little to no sympathy for this society or the people that are seduced by decadence and hedonism.

Usually the older person knows they are the sugar daddy . . . (sometimes sugar momma)
People get cynical and pragmatic as they get older, they are willing to "pay to play" with younger people.
