Depending on where you are, it may not be legal for you to hold a job at 14. Child labor laws vary by state and country, but at 14 many states expect you to be in school.

If you're 14, most states will have restrictions. You won't be able to work really early or really late, and you won't be able to operate machinery.
I would try to work as a housekeeper or something similar.

my son wanted a job, but we checked our state labor laws and the only place was a farm.
