1. Mental problems (depression, anxiety, etc) 2. Pregnancy 3. Being homeless (you can't enroll in school if you don't have an address) 4. Coming from a poor family and the family needs money now, so they drop out to work 5. Drug/alcohol problems 6. Problems with the law 7. Plain lazy

I dropped out after getttin my drivers license. not because I couldnt do the work, that wasn't the problem.
I was bored with school and I started partying alot and peer pressure was alot of it too.
I wanted to enjoy my teen years and I did,
but I did go back and get my diploma a year later then when I would of normally graduated.
I don't regret dropping out because I did get my diploma anyways.
but I do regret not advancing in my schooling or getting a good career going.
I wish I wouldnt of listened to my dad when He didnt think that the course I wanted to take would benefit me,
So I went into something to satisfy him and it never worked out,
I am too old now to go back to what I wanted to be.
. An Archaeologist,,
Kids get bored with the school book thing and want to learn first hand at things,
like out in the open with the one on one experience, instead of reading it from a book.
on the job training was the best way for me to learn.
but kids differ. and this is just what my own experience was..

the only i can think of is b/c a women is pregnant and the father need money to support the baby. or they think they can make a living on their own w/o a diploma.
