Go to the doctor. I don't think you could just hear the heartbeat. I think you have to have the special thing they use to hear the heartbeat. When I heard mine they really had to search for the heartbeat with that thing. and the baby's heartbeat is really fast. You should go to the doc.

Well, a baby has a heart beat at 6 weeks along but you usually can't hear it on a Doppler yet. So my guess would be that your at least 8 weeks along if not more.

I find it hard to believe you can hear a heartbeat now. It just might be your own that he's hearing. Go get an ultrasound and you'll see and hear the beating heart.

he could be hearing your heartbeat... usually a babies heartbeat can't even be heard with a normal stethascope until 16 weeks

Do you have one of those amplifier devices? You usually have to be pretty far alond to hear with one of those. I could never hear it with either of my pregnancies, even the day before I gave birth!
