Don't assume that all guys are sexist.

Now, that being said, you do the right thing by leaving. Most men who are like that think so lowly of women that whatever a woman has to say is automatically not beleived. I know this from personal experience..

Ever hear women who say "you can't change a man"? Well, they're right. Especially with men (and anyone, really) who is prejudiced. You can't change them, so don't bother. Just know that most guys are considerate, and aren't so ignorant.

Luckily for you, most of the guys seem to be just friends or complete strangers. I lost all respect for my own grandfather and father because of this issue, and have since stopped talking to them. You shouldn't put up with anyone who is ignorant, so don't.

Men: I'm sorry that there are crappy guys out there who give us gals a good reason to beleive that men are pigs. You're not. Men aren't pigs, and women are bitchy. Individuals are :D

Some guys r like that because thatzhow they r raised. But women r the same way we r taught from a young age that a man is supposed to carry the heavy bags, protect the house, fix things in the house n etc n when men r younger they r being told a woman is supposed to take care of the kids, cook, clean n take care of the house especially if they were raised by there grandmother's who still believe in the old days

Well not all men feel that way in fact being male I have come across my fair share of sexist women as well. They all insist that men are stupid this is a comment made w/o speaking to the woman for more than 15 minutes. Anyone that makes claims about a large social group (gender, race, sexual orientation and what not) simply on general and personal experience is an ignorant fool. Keep in mind that although we males share similarities we are all individuals with plenty of differences as well.
If you are offended by somebody's statement you can ignore it or come back with a snappy comment. If I was a woman I would say all a man is good for is paying my bills.

I am a guy and i know that it isn't the case. Most men who do say these things are ignorant. It is the same ignorance that has opressed women for too long. it is the same ignorance that has desroyed religions. It is sheer ignorance. Also, do not hink that women are free of sexism. I have heard women say that all men do one thing or another or that men are useless to begin with. people are just people in the end.

Just pray they don't reproduce (that would mean they found a woman stupid enough to have sex with them, gag!). How would they know, anyway? If I heard a guy say that, I'd respond with something like, "Wow. How many times were you dropped on your head as a baby?" or, "did your mother have any kids that lived", or "So what is it like having such restricted tunnel vision? Do you only see in black and white too?" or, "wow, it must be terrible to be so simpleminded like you" or "yeah, that would explain all those women doctors out there", or "if that is your best pick up line, you're never going to get sex", or "I thought cave men died out millions of years ago".

It's only because of the male insecurity that justifies this behavior. How do you think a man can handle raising children on his own, possibly working two or three jobs and/or going to school to support his family? Not to mention all of the chores that must be done upon returning home. Cleaning, laundry, cooking, homework, doctors appointments, sick children, sports activities, etc., etc.

Any man that disrespects a woman in that aspect, is obviously intimidated by women and perhaps this is his way of proving his self worth.

So hun, the next time this happens to you, before you walk away....... kick him right in the @$&%#!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure he won't forget it and will shut his trap the next time he decides to get cocky!

I kind of like that men are sooo different from us. I really like men that revel in their masculinity and appreciate that women are soo different. Sexist men that speak down to a woman are insecure. I have known men to say stupid things when they are attracted to a woman. Dont be angry and just see it for what it is, an insecurity an social retardation.

As a gay guy I see that a lot. It has to do with male insecurity.

However, it's important to note that A LOT of girls are sexist, if not the majority. Men are not stupid, as the media seems to portray them as.

Furthermore, this post is undeniably sexist itself. There shouldn't be a double standard if you're going to be all preachy about the issue.

Some guys only think about one thing. Plus I think they try to keep up there reputation by acting like they are macho && "oh woman suck". But all they really are, are babies when it comes to other things. Good luck.
