What do all of the manicans represent throughout the town?

Thats a good question that probably has alot of answers to it. As you probably noticed, the "freak" people in that movie had some serious issues.

The manicans are the test dummies for the nuclear test site. Gosh haven't you seen the demonstrations of nuclear testing? watch some videos on the internet. The manicans were set up before the detonation for scientists to see how much damage is done to the people.

It was a gov nuclear testing ground so they wanted to see the affects on the manicans of a nuclear blast instead of real people at least that's what i think anyways lol

I don't think they really represent anything unless they are mimicking how life was prior to the Nuclear Testing that killed the town. Remember, as Freud said "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar".

They are the people who were told to evacute and leave because of the governments testing. but the refused to leave and that's why they became the creatures that they are.

My guess is that the goverment put them there to test the bombs!!! And the freaks keep them there to keep their hatred towards the "normies"...

no the dummy's were put there by the nukies if the government would have put them there they would all be charred and their clothes would be burned off i think theyre there to represent dead relatives of the nukies
