my husband got the strep throat and lost his voice for two days now , tomorrow morning he have meeting he is the leader of it . there will be around 50 people in the meeting and he is very upset about the fact that his voice is not there, does anyone knows anything that he can take and it helps with getting the voice back other than not going to work ?

He should stay home.Strep is easily passed on to others and if he neglets it could turn to Scarlett Fever and that could be very bad.

IF he has strep throat he shouldn't be going to work anyway. His doctor probably advised him not to because he is still VERY contagious and would wind up getting everyone at the meeting sick. For some it can even lead to pneumonia or rhumatic fever.

There is a shot people can take that the Dr. gives you but I don't know any information about it.

Has he called a co-worker yet for back up. He may need to reschedule the appointment or get some one else to talk for him.

strep is dangerous in older guys, he can become sterile also. there are a couple of extremes from strep for older people, google it.
