If you are talking about human cells:
1. Human cells need food and oxygen (and water and a few other things)
2. Blood carries food and oxygen to the cells, but blood doesn't actually flow to each cell. Fluid from the blood exits through the capillaries and washes over the body cells.
3. Cells wouldn't be able to have the food and oxygen they need, and they wouldn't be able to get rid of carbon dioxide and other cell wastes.

Let's get down to simple ideas first...think of a box...but that box needs water and food but it also needs to be strong enough to support its own weight and hold its shape so the walls must be firm (this is cell integrity) but to keep the box up and running we need some fuel and some air...so how do we get food into the cell...it is by osmosis that is to say tiny openings in the wall of the box allow oxygen and food to enter but not large enough for the cellular material (nucleus, etc) to escape. Think of the nucleus as the brain of a cell and other cellular parts as the kidneys, liver, etc. With plant cells we call the exhange of gases (oxygen, carbon dioxide) transpiration and with light the cell is able to produce sugar, cellulose, fibrovascular bundles and return oxygen to the air. With unicellular (one celled ) life, they are independent and do not need blood...they exist on their own, but as cells group together to work as a unit, they need an internal means of sharing food, air and water....so blood joins those cells together....sort of like a train that carries fuel to all parts of a country...Blood consists of two parts...blood cells as well as a liquid (serum)...the cells carry gases (in human blood iron in the form of hemoglobin attaches to oxygen but also carries away carbon dioxide) and the liquid carries the nutrients such as sugars that feed the cells and allow growth. Cells that do not recieve oxygen or food die. If you stop the blood flow to a finger...it will die...a bruise shows that blood vessels have exploded and the black and blue mark is the result of dead cells until new blood vessels have regrown to take care of the area.

1. Nutrients and water (energy is necessary too)
2. No think about single celled euglenoids.
3. In human cells, the cells would die from lack of oxgenated blood.

2 "comparable" cells won't be able to undergo the comparable branch. Somatic cells undergo mitosis jointly as intercourse cells undergo meiosis. the outcomes are the comparable under mitosis and meisosis a million even nevertheless meiosis a million could desire to undergo meiosis 2 then the outcomes exchange.
