The older I get and the longer I've worked, the less likely I am to go into the office sick.
But, if I have a cold, URI, or the like then you'll find me at my desk. If the problem is more serious or requires a lot of trips to the restroom then I'll stay home.
I've learned they can survive without me there every day.. and if I'm sick then it isn't smart to risk spreading the germs to co-workers or employees.

Only if my illness is not 'catching' or if I need to "prove" I am ill.
I don't believe in sharing illnesses with my fellow workers. So, if I am really ill and need to prove it, I will go back home within the hour.
Also, (no, I don't work for the company), at the very first sign of a cold or flu, take Oscillococcinum! The stuff shouldn't work but it really does!!!!! Walmarts (I don't work there either) has it for under $10. Elsewhere it is $17ish. Still worth the price!

I have to; I cannot afford to take too many days off as it is, so unless I am throwing up or hallucinating(I did when I had the flu one year), I go to work when I'm sick. Luckily I don't really get sick that often :)

Yes, I do. I travel all the time for work and being sick in the audit room beats being sick and alone in the hotel room. Misery loves company and I can always ask the staff auditors to kill me and get me out of my misery. One of these days they will take me seriously and do me in LOL.

Yes. I don't like to miss work for anything....unless I'm sick in the hospital.

Depends how sick I am. If I am contagious or feel too sick to do anything productive, then I will stay home.

Depends how sick I am. If I've just gotten it or am mid-way through then I won't work but if I'm recovering its fine.

I always go to work when I'm sick......I like to save my "sick days" off for days when I can enjoy them.....

Yep, since I'm the youngest one there I don't have much trust from most of the people I work with so I want to prove that I'm dedicated I guess.

yes, my job as a mom NEVER STOPS. Im sick right now along with hubby, but while he lays on the couch and whines, im up chasing 2 toddlers, laundry, cooking and whatever else!@
