Why not. A granddaughter is a granddaughter and I think it is great to treat her as any other grandchild. Step, half, biological, non-biological family is family. good for him.

Maybe your husband wants to be in touch because there was a bond between them. There's nothing wrong with them being in touch.

well for me when i was dating my ex gf i became attached to her kids as if they was mine. to this day i still send them b-day presents. when u get into a relationship its not just with the person, but the family.

Why not, that is his step grand-daughter? He still loves her like his grand-daughter. If he is not doing anything wrong, then it's ok. Why are you so mad about it?

a stepdaughter from a previous marraige, and not yours? does he have any kids of his own or grandkids of his own? maybe he was just close to his stepkids and wants to know their children...
