I have a large bottle collection and I want to put some sort of colored liquid in them-water grows algae,and water with bleach wont allow for color -what do I use?

You can add rubbing alcohol and food colouring and make sure the bottles are tightly sealed to prevent evaporation.

You can still put in water. However you need to add al chemical to the water. Ask at a commercial air conditioning supplier for the chemical that they use in cooling towers to prevent algae.

i use this in my pool all the time, just cant think of the name. it lowers the level in the water and prevents algae growth, check your local pool supply house

Try alcohol instead of water.
