Please share a personal story of a time in your life that was hard (that you overcomed) or a happy time in your life! I need some inspiration...tough time in my life at the moment

When I was young, 17, I had my first daughter. Her father was an abusive, lying drug dealer. he would beat me for confronting his infidelity. So I chose to end the relationship and was out on the streets. I was in a very messed up place in life, staying place to place. That wasnt what I wanted my daughter to endure, so I asked her father to keep her until I was stable. So my homelessness continued two months longer, then I got an apartment. So needless to say I wanted her back. He refused, I had started dating someone who was motivating and helping me change my life and he hated it. he lost his power over me. he took her for a total of 19 months and I missed my first born growing and changing. I found him and pretty much kidnapped her from him. He only used her as a pawn. I was crushed for a long time. Now we are much better. I have two more children with the man who helped me out of H.E.L.L. and we are doing very well. Life is ironic, just when you think things are going to get worse, God shines some light into your heart!

So many to chose from, but I'll go with getting molested at 12 yrs old and having a child from that act a month after my 13th birthday. I gave up my daughter for adoption, knowing, even then, that I was only a child myself. I came to realize at an early age that to allow those things and others (sexually, emotionally and physically abused throughout childhood) to define me, I am allowing those who did me wrong to win. I am stronger than that. I deserve better and more than that. I was a child then, but now I am a strong, independent woman with morals and integrity. To allow the bad things in life overtake and overwhelm you makes evil the victor. Stand strong and realize that you hold the power to overcome the tough stuff.

I have a few tough stories that I have been through. The most recent one is getting over my broken heart from my boyfriend. I did it last year and then we ended up back together again..then he changed his mind and I have to do it again. I didn't think he could actually break my heart twice but he did and thinks he did nothing wrong.

Finished university and got married (21), husband turned out to sickenly physically abusive. Got pregnant at 22 (husband still very abusive), had baby (no change). Baby was 3 mths old, I packed my bags, had no money and nowhere to go. I left him and went to live in a shelter. The best thing I have ever done in my life. I've done well for myself, raised my son on my own and have no regrets. Good luck. Life is whatever you make it, you have to be strong for yourself and the rest will fall into place.

The toughest time I faced was hating to go to school, I would CRY, CRY, CRY! But a couple of minutes ago I just learned that my #1 inspiration(that Ive never met), cesar millan went to school and college to be what he is today and thats what I wanna be!!!
