Have any of you requested an autograph from a football player?

Well, to us Americans, soccer players. But, have any of you requested one and sent an IRC???
If you have, can you tell me the name of the person?

When I worked at the Buffalo Bills training camp around 1980, I walked up to several (American) football players and got autographs. They were all very nice about it. I only tried for one autograph by mail and that was of a writer, not an athlete. (I got it, too!) This was so long ago that I've forgotten the names.

If you write a nice note and include a stamped, self-addressed envelope, most people will cooperate. Good luck.
