Service Industries usually don't require a degree but in some areas it can help. These can be anything from policeman, fireman , park rangers to all kinds of jobs that deal directly with people one-on-one or in groups . Laborers , food service , instructional assistants/teacher aids are just a few more . Military service in all kinds of areas and branches too can be enetered in without an degree but in allmost all these areas a degree or colledge /or/ continueing education credits can give you a leg up on getting that job over someone else. Many of these jobs will get or give work experience that can count towards a degree if you elect to pursue or go for one at a later time, some even as an intern where you are working in a job field that directly counts as credit. There are numerous jobs out there for some one without a degree but to be honest the more learning you have/get the better the job offers. You have to decide are you willing to flip burgers, sweep flores or what and for what kind of pay scale. There is absolutely nothing wrong with any of these jobs and no one should look down thier noses at someone that does them . Someone has to do the jobs, and who knows , you could end up the manager or owner or a burger chain ,etc or you might be the person who after doing the job learns or discovers a better / improved way and become the next inventer who got rich just because he/she was " lazy and was looking for a short cut". Bottom line , there are lots of jobs that don't require a degree and many that a degree wont help-----BUT---" it sure can't hurt ya none " .

Like a high school degree? Bagbay, stockboy, gas station attendant, dog park maintenence, low level custodial work. The possibilities for making less than $10 an hour are endless.

Like a student in the process of getting a degree? Try on campus jobs or nearby restaurants, stores, etc. You won't make much more, but you'll have the hope of escaping in a few years.

i imagine you'd be stunned honestly at the position this stuff is used: Derivatives in Calculus as an example. you are able to ask, why the heck could I care what a by-product is and the thanks to outline it? yet you truly see them used daily no matter if you imagine of them as derivatives or no longer - alongside with the spedometer of your automobile (which shows on the spot speed, an celebration of a by-product). With criteria particular on your software (ie. having to take Calculus for a chemistry significant, etc), they make you're taking those particular math classes because the branch feels the content is significant to understand. And so a techniques as widespread practise criteria set up by way of the school particularly than the branch, there is fairly a lot continuously flexibility, so seem at it as an chance to take some thing that you pick to take a classification in (yet do not pick as your significant). and honestly gaining understanding of a overseas language is pretty useful contained in the international monetary device we've at present. And even as it received't make or smash a pastime software (till it specifically calls for fluency in a overseas language), it makes you more effective open-minded and makes you study cultures that you received't see on a standard foundation. if you're actually not prepared to take some thing outdoors of your branch, visit a vocational college.

You don't need a degree to help disadvantaged kids in your neighborhood. People will pay you money to do that. You don't need a degree to help other students fill out applications for admission to college. You can sell subscriptions to environmental organizations, read for the blind, help take photographs of kids in school, and a million other things that will pay at least as much as flipping burgers but which will help change your world and improve your life.
