hi there, our new( bomb) has lots of rust on the roof,holes that have been filled in with bog, its a nightmare, i cant afford a better one so how do i repair it on a shoestring budget without having to convert it into a convertible ? thank you!.

bog what is that? Is that another name for Bondo or something?
You can always bondo the holes and give it a paint job. Just have to make sure you remove all the paint around the area to be covered so the bondo will adhere. once that stuff sets it will be a very good fill and if it is a good job you will hardly know the difference once it is painted. if you are really on a shoe string bondo it and leave it that way. It will look like crap but it will keep the water out.

sand off the existing paint and rust from the holes then get aluminium foil and apply thin coat of bondo on it as per the instructions given on the pack then place it on the holes and do the paint job over it .this is the cheapest temp repair.

go to a autozone or somethin similar. get some bondo, mix to what the tub says, cover the holes. good to go. on a shoestring buget

Sheet metal and pop rivets. Bondo (bog) around the edges to seal it.

try going to a local welder and ask for him to weld a piece of sheet metal across the roof then bondo it and sand it
