If it is not too painful you do not need to worry ; because all it means is a weakness in the muscle controlling that finger. It is usually a tendon of the flexor digitorum longus. You need to exercise it as much as possible within the limits of pain.

If it still does not return to normal your doctor will sure ly refer you to a physiotherapy dept for ultrasound treatment and exercises like squeezing a tennis ball repeatedly.

Good Luck.

I don't want to alarm you, but you may have a mild form of arthritis, I know some one who had this when they where just 15.

First visit your doctor and tell him what is going on, but you can also try taking omega 3 fish oils, plenty of calcium and stop cracking your fingers.

I dont crack my fingers/knuckles but had this once from riding my motorbike for a long period of time. It lasted about a week and I struggled to grip anything with force as you describe.

I wouldnt automatically assume its related to cracking your fingers/knuckles but surely that isnt good for you anyway and wouldnt help matters. Leave it a week or so then visit your quack if still suffering.

Sorry, but your question doesn't really make sense. What do you mean you cant get any force into them? I don't think anyone knows what you mean.
