It is not uncommon to have odd dreams during pregnancy. I have had 3 pregnancies and I have had my share of odd dreams. In one I even met my child at age 3 and the oddest part about that was 1: that I did not know the sex of my child previous to the birth and 2: how she appeared in my dream is exactly how she looked when she reached age 3. Totally freaking out weird huh. There is no real scientific explanation for these occurrences, some say its the excitement of the impending birth (they do say that these odd dreams increase and become more vivid just before the birth of the child), others say its fluctuating hormone levels (hormones get blamed for everything a woman does, don't you know) and still other just flat out admit they don't know why these dream occurs. But don't worry they're normal. :)

Oh yes, definately! I remember reading articles on babycenter.com that listed common dream themes for each trimester. I think water dreams were common - maybe it was in the 3rd trimester. Dreams that your significant other is cheating on you are common too. And plenty of sex dreams! ;)

Very normal. Get the book "What to Expect when you are Expecting". It covers that topic, and lots of other very vital and basic information.
