I'm planning a trip next month to Disney World - we're planning four days, one for each of the parks. My husband also wants to stop at DisneyQuest, and it's been recommended to just add that option to our main tickets.

* Is the DisneyQuest something we'll want to visit more than once?
* does using that option take one of our 'days' off the pass?

If it's a great attraction, we want to take an afternoon just for that (outside the four days for the parks).

People also tell us to add the Park Hopper option. This is my first trip to Disney, so I'm not sure. Is it really worth it? or can all the goodies in each park be absorbed on the same day?

Thanks!

It may be worth it to get the Park Hopper Option if you plan to visit more than one park per day. Four days definitely isn't long enough to see everything at the four theme parks. My boyfriend and I go every summer, and we have to stay for a minimum of ten days in order to do ALMOST everything. The Magic Kingdom and EPCOT definitely take two whole days each to complete. Disney's Animal Kingdom Park and the Disney-MGM Studios can be done in about one day. But there's also two water parks and everything at Downtown Disney. You'll probably have time to go to three of the theme parks, not do everything at each of them, and then go to DisneyQuest.

You can purchase tickets for single-day admission to DisneyQuest for $36.00 each. I really don't imagine you'll want to go to DisneyQuest more than once. It's a fun experience, but there's only enough to keep you occupied for a couple of hours, and plus, the place will be swarming with little kids - if it's just you and your husband, you probably won't want to stay there too long. My boyfriend and I went a couple summers ago and could barely move around, there were so many unaccompanied kids running around, screaming. We decided to skip out on it this past summer, but we'll probably give it another try this summer.

I don't know what you mean by "someone recommended to just add that option." I know there is the Water Park Fun & More Option that gives you access to DisneyQuest during the length of your stay, but it also gives you access to the Water Parks, Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex, and Pleasure Island, so it would cost a lot to add on that option and it defintiely wouldn't be worth it. If that's the option they're referring to then they're trying to rip you off. Besides that there is no other "option." Just the choice to buy single-day admission to DisneyQuest.

Hope I could help! Have fun!

You can enjoy a Disney park in one day. And since you have devoted 4 days to the parks, I think you will be fine without the park hopper option. I only recommend the park hopper option to folks who have less than 4 days to spend at Disney, yet want to spend a little time all over the place.
I also don't recommend Disney Quest. It might be worth it for your family to visit once and only for a few hours. I didn't care for it and I've heard through the cast member grapevine that it actually might get shut down in the next year - not doing as well as they had originally hoped.

Add the water park and more option instead (weather permitting). The Disney water parks are a lot more fun than Disney Quest. And you'll have more photo opportunities. DisneyQuest is SO dark inside. The only good thing about DisneyQuest is that they have a Cheesecake Factory on the top level. :)

My husband loved DisneyQuest. It could take you a whole day but an afternoon would probably work. We also go as often as we can. The Park hopper pass is nice in case you go to say Epcot on one day but you really want to go back to Magic Kingdom to see the fireworks. You won't see everything in a week so don't even try. You will just tire yourself out and be miserable. There is a book out there called the "Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World" that can be very helpful. They make a few different types. It is a Travel book but they give you a game plan on what to see and what order to see them in to make the most of your time. It might be worth looking into. I love Disney - we are actually going back this year but we are going to rent a villa off site so we can take the kids other places.

That book I was just telling you about also offers a website to plan your trip online. www.frommers.com

I am a member of the Disney vacation club and go to Disney often. It is absolutely, positively necessary to get the park hopper option. The best way to go is to go to the park of your choice early in the morning. Leave in the middle of the day and go back to your resort for some lunch and swimming, then about dinner time, when everyone else is coming back for dinner, head back to one of the parks. If you do not have the park hopper option, you are locked into one park. By getting the park hopper, you can come and go into any of the parks as you please. You may want to go to the Magic Kingdom in the morning, then Epcot at night. Or, for example, if the Magic Kingdom is crowded on a given day, you can jump on the monorail and shift gears. Head to Epcot or MGM instead. It just gives you the freedom to shift gears and go to different things instead of being stuck. My family and I have always found that doing one park in the AM and a differnt one in the PM is much more fun.
As for DisneyQuest, to me it is half a day. I am going to get the option for my passes when I take my family in April, but I am also going to get it for the waterpark use.

My family purchased the 3 them parks, 2 water parks, and disney quest, and that deal is definatly worth it. I myself enjoy going to disney quest, it is the kind of experince you dont have everyday, and the virtual reality is great, even when you first enter there are already surprises waiting for you. I dont really recommend a park hopper though. I like to take time in the parks, and the only park I beleive you cant sepnd a whole day in is probalbly MGM, but other than that see what other deals they have.

I'll tell you this we went last summer and also bought the park hopper. We didn't use it at all. You get so tired just going through one park, and really don't have the time or energy to go to another in the same day.
Since I'm a paranoid type person, the next time we go I'll probably still buy them anyways just in case :o)

the actual incontrovertible truth that we are residing and respiration and prepared to do those style of issues. the actual incontrovertible truth that we are not rocks and some divine twist of destiny made use who we are instead of a few inorganic atom. the very truth we are able to provide issues nicely worth. we are able to categorise. Its all appropriate, the sight, the sound, the feel, the emotion, the flavor. Even discomfort. we are able to experience that not many different issues can. discomfort might want to be painful, yet we are able to experience it merely as we are able to experience chuffed. Its remarkable extremely that out of all of this we are able to attempt this stuff. besides the actual incontrovertible truth that it style of feels to suck each so often its nevertheless staggering. random truth: in case you shoot a rabbit, it doesnt understand why it feels discomfort, it would not register that there is an evidence, it merely is conscious it feels discomfort and as a reaction will run away, even if its lack of life. Shoot a human (even if or not they did not understand what a gun change into) it would want to recognize its something released, have some sort or understanding of what to do etc. I dont imagine this change into suitable yet its written now... yet when youre searching for one reason it would want to truthfully be pie.

Has everything that can help you on your Disney Vacation, including maps of each park.

If you have a busy day standing in lines for 45 minutes each at Magic Kingdom, it's nice to go to dinnner at one of the great places at Epcott - International different countries!

If you don't have park hopper you only get to go to the countries once.

I've been thre 3 x in the last three years for at least 9 days each time, and we always run out of time.

GOD bless us one and all, always.
