If he were not killed, there could be no guarantee that he would not gain power again and kill a few hundred thousand more people. The region is unstable enough that there are any number of ways this could happen.
In any case, the choice was made by an Iraqi court in accordance with Iraqi law, so we should respect that.
Since you didn't even bother to check the spelling of his name, I guess you don't know much about him.

Yes, he should have been killed. He killed his own people he was president over his own brother and no telling what he would have done if he was let stay in power or left alive. Some people are so bad they need to die for what they have done to others. What about the family's of the people he had killed what if it was your mother or father or your sister he raped or your brother he killed for no reason.I bet you are a Bush hater you need to get all the facts then make a decision.OK

He was hung for his crimes against the Iraqi people so I really don't think they give a fig what you or I think.....
Yes (personally ) I believe he should of been hung - twice if possible.
Let the Iraqi people rule themselves and Americans can get the Hades out of there.

i think you are right in a way. people shouldnt judge who has the right to live. its quite sad- i personaly believe that might have killed himself given the chance. he was so confused. it would have been enough to lock him up for the rest of his life.

His people thought so . . .
It was their decision because he was crazy & killed lots of their people.
They were free to choose what to do with him , because he had a trial . . . which he never gave to the hundreds of people he ordered killed.
