These are absolutely the best and I wear them every day.
Dansko, Sas, and Born Clogs.
They are over a $100 but it will spare you chiro., doctor, and back pain. It's worth to spend good money because these shoes will las for years and years and are durable.
Cheap shoes under $60 will not provide you the comfort and support you need especially with the work you do.

I don't know what you're dress code is at work but Merrells are really comfy shoes. They give great arch support. Their styles range from sporty to dressy to nurse-like shoes.
You could also go to The Walking Company. They have custom made insoles that you put in your shoes. You stand on a machine & it measures how you stand & distribute your weight. I think it costs around $40. Pretty cheap when you consider you can slip them into all of your shoes & it will really help save your feet & back.
Good luck.

Get your a pair of those Puma shoes that have the logo at the front. They're really comfortable, come in a lotta colors, and can pass for dress casual. The Adidas/Good Year shoes could also work and are even more dress casual than the Pumas cause there isn't a logo on the very front of the shoe.

I hate the style but Crocks are totally the best shoe made for comfort in my opinion. You can wear them with bare feet and they will never smell either. Socks with crocks is not a bad thing either and they feel like your walking on squishy but dry sponge . mine are a year old now and they feel as squishy as they day I bought them . You need to buy the real crocks though.. The cheap knock offs are not near as good..
Expect to pay around 40 bucks

Check out zappos.com and use their search tool (comfort shoes). I wasn't allowed to wear sneakers when I waited tables and bought a pair on their site based on the reviews. The shoes were fantastic, just as the customers had described.

Go to Wal-Mart, seriously. They have the best work shoes for men and women. I got a very nice pair of black soft shoes with great insoles and tread for about $20. They lasted forever (or at least longer than expensive athletic shoes) and they looked very professional with black slacks.

Doctor told me a few years ago - Buy Rockport! And they did make a difference.
They are not the cheapest - but at the end of the day - my legs and feet did not hurt. I did a lot of walking as part of my job.

yes ma'am, they are called "Nurse Mates", they even have cute ones now. I used to wear them when everyone else in the restraunt had tennis shoes....I helps also to wear those heavy duty Support hose. I believe J.C. Penneys may carry them now. If not, ask a nurse where to get them.
