The claim for support will be filed in the Philippines. The court requires a prior demand tot he husband before a formal complaint will be filed in court. Is there any website that provides smaple letters, such as demand letter for child support?

the honor system doesnt work thats for sure. deadbeats make a HUGE strain on everyone and everything. thats why the states are tired of them.

do they have a Legal Aid Office there? i know they are in every state here and go on a sliding scale (so its free to most).

here's the link to CS there, its called CRIN.

i have no idea what or how their system works there, but here are some links.

1)you could also go to your states site, click on judiciary then pro se forms section on it.
2) her local court house should have those forms, in the pro se section or child support section.
3) legal aid.

just click on the state and find the info you need:

What is a letter going to do to him? He might give you money for a couple of months the you would have to start from the beginning again. Contact the District Attorney and file for child support through the courts. Your ex will get over it.

your friend needs to go to the court house for this matter or hire an attorney, these types of things are very time consuming and if she is very unknowing of this type of legal matter she needs to get a lawyer consult to see what is best for her situation

Go through the courts. That's the best bet.

She can go through the county to help her out. I went through my county and they found my kids' dad and even started taking the money out of his pay checks and they'll do all the work for her. She's got a lot to do as it is.

write it like this.

We have this child, I care about her, do you?
It takes money to raise her, please help.
If you don't she will remember and probably hate you forever.
More worse letters to follow if you don't send any money.
Please say why if it isn't the full amount due, she needs some shoes.
