Do you occasionally talk to yourself? If so, do you talk to yourself out loud or in your mind?

I try to talk to myself in my mind, but I end up saying things out loud. I am also on my way to the loony bin. See ya there.

Yes, I talk to myself, both in my mind and out loud. I guess if I get upset about something I go around talking to myself out loud. My husband says he has to talk himself because a lot of the times, he is the only one that agrees with him.

I do not usually talk out loud to myself, although I guess I do talk in my mind, but I always thought that was just thinking.....

Both! I do not have 2 way "conversations" with my self but do act like i am speaking to someone- kinda thinking out what i need to say or would say in a certain situation. it helps me figure the best way to go about things or what not to say in a conversation. Am I crazy? No its the ones who do not talk to themselves that are!

Sometimes I'll ask myself a question out loud. If hear it as if someone else is asking me.. I can usually remember the answer. ^_^

But ya, the dialog usually stays in my brilliant mind.

I do both, though usually much less vocalization out loud. Most of my chatter is internalized and hence I spawn many Muses who can be very amusing & quite creative from time to time.

I do all the time sometimes while I am talking to myself in my mind I tend to gesture with my hands as if I were verbally talking to someone
