i think she might like you and being flirty but you did the right thing by telling her you got a gf, your gf should be proud of you by not hiding her, some guys will hide the fact that they are in a relationship and will flirt back. it is a nice feeling though that somebody else finds you attractive... that is a compliment indeed...

If you know any really really good friends that are cops on the other hand that dont mind bending the rules for you, you might be able to find out. If there is some way you can locate the persons I.P address from that message you might have a start.
