what to do if you drop your phone in a puddle?

so i dropped my cell in a rain puddle, and im hoping theres a way to salvage my lil blue buddy. i put it into the freezer for a few hours and it seemed to help.. but my "end" button doesnt work, it wont charge, and it decides when it wants to turn on or off and the screen flickers. anybody have any advice? is there any hope for my poor lil cell? its an older model, and im hoping i dont have to get it replaced.. cause if i do i have to get a diff phone...

remove the battery and put it in the oven in low temapture

Most important: turn it off, take out the battery. Let it sit for a week, then put the battery back in and try it again. If it's not ok, you will need to take it back to your dealer and let them have a look. Water doesn't harm electronics UNLESS you power up.

what variety of telephone do you have? My telephone is fairly much indestructible from my attitude. i does not concern if I did that. in the experience that your telephone is ruined, you will lose the text fabric messages and stuff till you stored them to a memory card wherein case will paintings in case you drop it at once in water. My telephone particularly went in the process the washer and dryer and it nonetheless grew to become on. I observed somebody mentioned to blow dry it. do no longer do this because of the fact the warmth will for useful destroy it. I ruined a pair telephones by potential of status by potential of a fireplace.

Sorry to hear that but you'll probably have to take it to a cell phone expert who is willing to fix such issue. I don't think you can get it back to as it was before you had this accident.
