I've been dying to see Dreamgirls but the closest theatre to me that it's playing in that I can find is an hour away. Anyone know why?

I live about an hour south west of Toronto, Ontario. There are quite a few t heatres in this area but it's only playing in Toronto

It isn't playing in my country either, sometimes they just take a while to show up in theathers, but eventually it will come.

Its a great film. Twice after performance scenes the entire theatre clapped to the screen. Just like a live stage show. It had energy that made it special for the crowd.That doesn't happen often. Hope you see it soon in a nice setting with a good quality copy of it.Eddie Murphy was great! Enjoy.

cuz some theaters r different than others and only da manager decides 2 chooses da movie it wants on its theater, so i guess u just have 2 watch it on dvd or drive 1 hr 2 see it

It didn't come to Amarillo, Texas. Alot of very disappointed people here. We have heard it is the best movie. We were wondering too........

SOME THEATERS ARE LIKE THAT...MAYBE NEXT WEEK, IT'LL COME TO YOUR TOWN!
