There aren't really any dangers. Yeast infections are really common during pregnancy. Some ob's actually suggest getting a 7 pack of Monistat and use one a week during the first part of pregnancy, to keep reoccuring infections at bay if they have been a problem in the past.

However, its always a good idea to check with your doctor or midwife!

Yeast infections is treated during pregnancy with a vaginal cream or a suppository containing an anti fungal cream. DO NOT USE without consulting your doctor first. Your health care provider needs to confirm the diagnosis before you start treatment. Although oral preparations are available for treating yeast infections, most health care providers recommend topical treatment during pregnancy.

Once you've had a yeast infection wile pregnant, it can be a recurring problem until after delivery, when it usually subsides. It may be necessary to treat yeast infections repeatedly throughout your pregnancy.

My friend used it during her pregnancy and he baby turned out just fine, however it is better to just call up your dr and ask them for a prescription. I have had to do that 2 times already.
