Nail/Toe Polish... Is it really necessary?

I don't know if this is just me, but as a guy, I really dislike it when girls paint their nails/toenails.

I really think that girls are much prettier when they don't do that. There are exceptions, of course, but generally, I just find it very out of place at times, and it can be even be distracting.

Just curious, but what's your opinion on this?

Personally, I just dont see the point in using those things. I never have. Surprisingly, its one of the things that attracted my husband to me. He said he could tell by the fact that I dont have my nails done or my toenails painted, that I was a "low maintenance" kind of girl, and exactly what he was looking for.

I have to disagree with you.. I love taking care of my feet.. I think they look pretty.. obviously pretty is on the eyes of the beholder... but I go to my nail place every two weeks.. they polish my feet.. remove any unwanted dry skin, condition them and paint my toe nail with pink, tan and soemtimes when I feel darn sexy... red.. and I think it looks great with sandals... the problem is when women have this crazy designs on them or they have big toe nails that make them look disgusting.. but if you have them short (normal short) a nice nail polish accent them.

I don't really like my feet, but I paint my toe nails just to take away from my "insecurity." Only, I use clear coat, none of that design, color, glitter stuff. Same with my fingernails. I use something that is just plain and simple, yet girly and sort of pretty.

Yes! I always paint my toes b/c they look so pretty! I only do my nails if I have time.

I definitely won't allow it at work. But on my employee's offtime, if they want to polish or paint their toenails and wear flipflops or go to the beach with nice toenails, then this is America and I say let 'em.
