This is generated by copyright protection instructions on some gaming CDs.

It might have something to do with your CD drive. Some CD drives have problems with these newer copyright protections. You may want to upgrade your CD drive.

Or ... maybe you have a pirated CD.

Contact the customer service provided with the software, whether it be an 800 number or email, they are usually aware of all problems with their products and will email you a patch or a link to a site that will provide solutions.

that file does not exist on my machine and mine works fine ... im running XPSP2 .. so my guess is that its either some bs software u need to uninstall or reinstall ... or some adware u need to get rid of ..

It might have something to do with your cd-rom drive. Some rom drives have problems with these new coryright protects. You may want to up grade your cdrom drive.
